Keith Gill — known online as Roaring Kitty and u/DeepFuckingValue — publicly argued that GameStop was undervalued and documented his thesis and his own position online. Congress later called him to testify as an individual investor.

The Chewy co-founder disclosed an investment in GameStop; the stock closed up 23.93% that day. On January 11 it was announced he would join the board.
