READ BEFORE PRESSINGINDEPENDENCE
BUTTON is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with GameStop Corp., Robinhood Markets, Inc., or Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited.
WHAT “GME” MEANS HERE
References to GME in this application refer to the applicable canonical Robinhood GME Stock Token when explicitly identified by contract address.
Robinhood Stock Tokens provide economic exposure to the underlying security and are not direct legal or beneficial ownership of it.
Only the contract address published on the transparency page identifies the token used for drops. Tokens with the same name or symbol at a different address are not it.
GME DROPS ARE FEE-FUNDED AND VARIABLE
GME drops are funded exclusively from the WETH creator fees that BUTTON actually receives and that are actually converted to GME. BUTTON received as creator fees is never sold and funds no drops. If there are no fees, there are no drops.
Fee generation and GME drops are variable. No returns are guaranteed.
Drops are periodic, not scheduled: operators close a reward period when enough GME has been acquired. Each drop is split among eligible holders in proportion to BUTTON held × time held during the period, rounded down; amounts below the minimum distribution roll forward. Drops are not dividends, not guaranteed yield, not guaranteed income, and not guaranteed returns.
ELIGIBILITY AND EXCLUSIONS
Holding BUTTON in a wallet you control is the only requirement. Protocol and non-user balances (the liquidity pool, the zero and removal addresses, the BUTTON contract, the launch factory and liquidity locker, the fee and reward wallets, and any address on the public registry) are excluded. A transfer that fails simulation for a specific wallet keeps that wallet's amount undistributed for that period.
BUTTON REMOVAL
BUTTON received as creator fees is removed from circulation in full and is never sold. Removal means transfer to an irrecoverable address: the launch token has no burn function, so total supply does not change, and a supply reduction is reported only when it is actually observed onchain.
OPERATIONS ARE OPERATOR-ASSISTED
Fee collection, GME purchases, BUTTON removal and GME drops are executed by operators using open-source tooling in the public repository. Holder balances are rebuilt from chain events, every plan is published with a checksum, every transfer is simulated before it is sent, and every transfer is verified against its receipt before it is counted. Timing and frequency may vary.
SMART CONTRACT AND TOKEN RISK
BUTTON is a standard launch token. No custom contract sits between you and your BUTTON; it stays in your wallet. The GME Stock Token contract is controlled by its issuer and may include transfer restrictions, pauses or upgrades outside this project's control, which can prevent a wallet from receiving GME. Software can contain bugs.
Staking architecture was developed but intentionally not activated. BUTTON V1 uses holder distributions instead; the unused contract is not deployed.
MARKET RISK
BUTTON and GME can be volatile and may lose substantial or all value.
Launching through a public launchpad means price discovery happens on an automated market maker pool seeded by the launchpad. Liquidity may be thin.
THE BUTTON
The button on the homepage is a button. Before launch it does nothing except judge you slightly. After launch it links to the verified trading page. It is not investment advice, and neither is anything else here.
